As the Summer nears its end, here is a mid-2021 update in another “special year”.
The urgency of Covid-19 has provided new opportunities and challenges, requiring the biomedical community to quickly adapt vital research work and deliver in shorter timeframes. Several of our clients have been involved in developing SARS-CoV-2 vaccines and therapies. Some ensure providing essential animal models such as NHPs, while others perform pre-clinical testing of antiviral drugs and vaccines. The enos team has also adapted by performing remote installations and training when travel restrictions prevented us from going onsite.
During this period, we are happy to welcome several new clients in the US, Europe, Australia, and New-Zealand!
While the attention is on SARS-CoV-2 and infectious diseases, research in other therapeutic areas continues. Among other things, enos clients are actively working in:
- Oncology research with genetically modified mice models
- Cardiovascular, metabolism and CNS research with rodent models
- Medical devices such as pacemakers, stents and more thanks to rabbit and sheep models
- Wide ranging animal health related diseases to develop veterinary therapies
We are proud to be a humble contributor and collaborator to advancing Science and developing therapies for humans and animals.
